Toronto: Ontario Tech University, a public research university in Oshawa (Greater Toronto Area) will host the Hydrogen Business Council (HBC) of Canada’s annual conference on October 17-18, 2024. The theme of this year’s conference is The Canadian Hydrogen Economy In Action.

Highlights of this year’s program include hydrogen fueled NEXO SUVs provided by Enbridge and a class 8 hydrogen fueled truck provided by ITD Industries. HBC’s new Chair Linda Drisdelle will join HBC’s CEO Brad Chittick in convening hydrogen subject matter experts for two full days of presentations, panel discussions and audience Q&A in the areas of hydrogen economics, finance, infrastructure, techno-economics, enabling technology, applications of national importance and policy. And Dr. David Hart from ERM will deliver his Round The World Of Hydrogen keynote on Friday morning. Dr. Rami El-Eman, Director of Ontario Tech University’s Strategic Initiatives for the Vice-President of Research & Innovation will be organizing multiple student presentations and poster displays.

HBC is pleased to announce that this year’s conference chairs are Kim Leach from Ballard, Kasia Malz, a hydrogen CFO and Tatiana Wagner a Director of Business Development from Atkins Realis. Each will be facilitating panel discussions on economic development, finance and infrastructure respectively.

The HBC is pleased to embark on its tenth annual Canadian Hydrogen Conference with this expanded in person event that includes a companion exhibition, networking event, and a concurrent virtual transmission of the entire conference for those who can not attend in person.
